Texas State Rep Challenges Ag Commissioner to Duel Over Primary Endorsement
Finally, something conservative is happening.
With the primary elections fast approaching, the most vulnerable incumbent Republican in the Texas House has just become an absolute legend after implying that he wishes to legally murder Sid Miller, the State’s Agriculture Commissioner, in response to Miller’s latest political antics.
Miller published private text messages allegedly sent to him by Glenn Rogers in which Rogers suggests dueling in the conservative tradition to settle their differences.
We’ve covered some epic text messages from Texas lawmakers on this site. In this case, Representative Rogers uses impeccable punctuation, and what Sid Miller has done is to merely out Glenn Rogers as a bad ass.
Sid’s post says he wants to fight and chooses words as the weapon? Yeah, ok. Tell that to the cartels, Sid.
According to Wikipedia, Rogers has 5 children.
Apparently, this is the ad got Roger’s panties in a bunch:
I like Sid Miller because he called Hillary Clinton a bad name in 2016 during the Great Meme Wars.
He’s done some other good stuff—I can’t really remember any of it right now, but he definitely called Hillary Clinton a funny name. This shows me that Sid Miller aligns with my values.
Glen Rogers has a tough election coming up, out there in the beautiful House District 60.
Rogers opposed Abbott on his mysterious school choice agenda, and now he’s facing down an opponent in Mike Olcott who has been stacking up big-time endorsements and growing his name recognition.
Glenn Rogers is fighting for his political life. “I will kill you” is a compelling message for voters, but Rogers better start doing a lot more violence if he wants to overcome a formidable challenger in Mike Olcott.
Tommy, you slay me. Somehow, you manage to distill the id of generations of pissy voters that may not actually be pissed enough.
Has anyone done any research on Olcott? Frankly I don't know that I would trust hime anymore than the other fellow.. Not really sure how I feel about Sid Miller either. I don't trust any of them.
