The fight for hemp freedom in Texas isn't over.
Governor Abbott vetoed SB 3, a sweeping ban that would have shut down thousands of small businesses and stripped Texans of access to legal hemp products. But a special session begins July 21st, and Lt. Governor Dan Patrick is expected to push another attempt at prohibition.
We need your voice. Tell your State Representatives:
✔️Support smart, balanced regulations
🚫 Reject sweeping bans that kill jobs and crush personal liberty
The hemp industry supports over 53,000 jobs, $2.1 billion in wages, 267 million in tax revenue and provides relief to countless Texans—veterans, seniors, parents, and more—who’ve found safer alternatives through legal hemp.
If this industry is shut down, Texas will see a wave of unemployment, disenfranchised farmers, a commercial real estate crisis and millions of people who will be left without relief.
This is a matter of freedom, free markets, and local business. The state shouldn’t be in the business of picking winners and losers—especially when those losers are Texas entrepreneurs.
