The Pizza Guy Taking the Formula Crisis Into His Own Hands

His name is Joe.

For those out of the loop, there’s currently a formula crisis plaguing our country.

Stores are limiting purchases of baby formula, with shelves in many markets completely bare. Panicked parents of newborns are calling on friends and family to help locate food for their babies, with some resorting to making their own formula at home. And while the Abbott plant was given the green light this week to start manufacturing again — a move that will still take weeks to rebuild inventory on store shelves — there are growing calls from lawmakers for major changes to how the industry operates.

Under the Brandon administration, this crisis is just an add-on to the list of horrible things that keeps happening to Americans. From COVID lockdowns, to inflation, to gas prices, a looming recession, and now a threat of monkeypox, it seems a baby formula shortage is just par for the course.

Across the nation, families dealing with this formula shortage are driving to stores hours away, calling friends to purchase formula for them, and some are even resorting to making homemade formula. All desperate just to feed their newborns.

But a Texas man has decided to go out of his way to help his fellow Americans.

And his name is Joe.

Joe Haliti

Joe Haliti to be exact. A big guy, with an even bigger heart.

Joe has always been loved by the people who know him. Part of the reason why is because his food is so damn good, but a bigger reason is that Joe pours his own love into to the people and community around him.

People we’ve talked to pretty much all had the same things to say about him.

“He’s always done these sort of things.”

“This is just how Joe is, he’s an angel.”

“Joe just wants to help people.”

When COVID hit, Joe, like many other restaurant owners, was forced to shut down. Rather than let his restaurant sit there waiting to re-open. Joe would come into his restaurant every day, make pizza, and drive to every hospital, police department, and anyone else in need and give away food for free.

He would also open up curbside, and give away free food to the community.

So when Joe saw that families were struggling to find formula, Joe went through his own food vendors and purchased formula that wouldn’t be normally available to the general public and began giving it away to anyone who was in need.

People nationwide have called Joe for formula and he’s mailed them what they need. This obviously isn’t a cheap, nor profitable endeavor, but none of that concerns Joe. He just wants to help.

Many reading this will be shocked at Joe’s kindness, but this is nothing new for him. This is just what he does.

In a world filled with growing problems, shady politicians, and growing worldwide nightmares, men like Joe give a very much needed beacon of hope and happiness for everyone blessed to meet him.

Joe loves his country, but most of all he loves his fellow man.

And there’s nothing more American than that.
