Tarrant County Blinks On Shuttering Election Sites

The Commissioners Court meetings about the polling site have been complete clown shows. Judge Tim O’Hare is being forced to arrest a growing number of limp hippies for being weird during the county’s public meetings. All Republicans are trying to do is secure Tarrant County’s elections and Democrats are going limp over it.
O’Hare even had a black man arrested who then became a white man in jail. He just keeps on winning.
Despite these wins, the Court appears to have blinked.
After an hours long meeting, the Tarrant County Commissioners Court voted unanimously to delay a vote on closing Election Day and early voting polling sites in the state’s third most populous county.
The Commissioners were considering a proposal from the county’s administrator on elections to reduce the number of Election Day polling sites from 316 to 176, and the number of early voting sites from 50 to 42.
It’s all going down September 1, and estimates for the number of limp hippies vary. Texas Signal, without meaning to, explains why there are all these efforts in Tarrant County to make sure the elections are legit:
Tarrant County is considered an important bellwether in Texas politics. While the county has been reliably Republican, it narrowly supported Joe Biden in 2020 before swinging back in 2024 in favor of Donald Trump.
