With nine scoundrels kicked to the curb and eight more scurrying into run-off elections, many people are saying Tuesday was the most conservative primary election in Texas history.
Riding a surge of enthusiasm over the potential return of exiled President Trump to DC, the Texas-right went from the brink of over to the cusp of so-back in one night.
These are the Top 5 Flexes from Super Tuesday in Texas.

5. Shelley Luther
Delivering the people’s elbow right to the chin of incumbent Reggie Smith was conservative Republican Shelley Luther up in HD 62, located around the great Sherman/Denison area of North Texas.
Shelley has been a long-time favorite of Current Revolt, as we both took Texas by storm in the summer of 2020.
It’s been a wild ride. From being thrown in jail for delivering essential haircuts at reasonable prices during the lockdowns in 2020 to losing a State Senate primary race in 2021 and the HD primary 62 race in 2022, Shelley had some kind of health problem, and it wasn’t looking good.
Whatever the issue was, it seems to have been resolved, much to the dismay of the haters.
We spoke to Shelley about her big win. She credited her success to a new and more focused approach, avoiding the fights and more controversial statements that were hallmarks of her previous races. She claims she and her team outworked Smith, especially over the course of the two cycles.
What did Shelley say put her over the top and finally convinced voters that she was the conservative alternative? The Ken Paxton impeachment vote.
That’s a tough one, Reggie!
Shelley Luther - 53.42%
Reggie Smith (I) - 46.58%

The Democrats in Texas are not okay, and they are very worried about conservative electoral gains. It’s sad they can’t be happy that our democracy is working so well. Here is what they are saying about Tuesday:
4. Matt Morgan
I don’t know anything about this guy, but he’s got a chill vibe. He looks to be clever as well as tall. He defeated Jacey Jetton, an active member of the US military which is currently complicit in the invasion of Texas.
Other than aiding and abetting, Jetton was otherwise boring and not doing anything.
He posted this about the race.
I think we can expect big things from Morgan! Democrats are pissed that he is white!
Matt Morgan - 53.81%
Jacey Jetton (I) - 38.65%
Jessica Huang - 7.54%

Do you hate white people? There’s the door!
3. Brent Money
Brent Payday, aka Brent Moneyshot, aka soon-to-be Representative Money, snatched the HD 2 nomination away from Jill Dutton. Dutton was only sworn in a few days ago!
You only ever see the one photo of Money in which he looks very smug. It’s almost like he knew he was going to win the second election all along!
Bling bling, Brent!
2. Mike Olcott
Glenn Rogers is a good man, and he put up a good fight, but he ended up being curb-stomped to absolute death by Mike Olcott.
Seriously, Glenn Rogers might have to move to a new district after this. I have no doubt he gets harassed in public after being cut down so savagely.
Mike’s wife is so nice too. I forgot her name, but she’s very classy and well-liked. It will be good to have some class in the Capitol again. The TikTok #txlege wives are getting out of control, quite frankly.
1. David Lowe
David Lowe has been relentless in his back-to-back campaigns against Stephanie Klick. Voters appear to have come to terms that Lowe will simply continue to run until they elect him.
He is in a run-off with Stephanie Klick, and there is no way Klick pulls it off this time—no hecking way—It’s over for her. It doesn’t matter how much charcuterie she thinks she has.
Stephanie Klick (I) - 48.09%
David Lowe - 46.1%
Teresa Ramirez - 5.82%
All in all, Democrats are furious, the media establishment is losing their mind, and incumbents that survived on Tuesday are asking if it’s worth continuing to stir the bees nest, that is the conservative grassroots, as they risk future elections.
