Republicans say they plan to amend a bill meant to reduce illegal immigration by curtailing the scope of the proposed law by over 99.8%!
What started as a proposed law to allow “any Texas peace officer” to deport illegal aliens has turned into a complete and total hoax, only enforceable within line-of-sight of the border.
If you find this surprising, allow me to introduce you to a Texas-sized scam called #TXLege, also known as the Texas Legislature.
The lawmaking body of the Texas government exists as a side hustle for lawyers and party animals. Nevertheless, it is not without prestige and perks.
To maintain the ability to get re-elected, Texas Republicans are having to devote an increasing amount of time maintaining and refreshing various scams—the biggest scam of all being the open southern border and the perennial promise of a “secure” border by politicians.
The last major, media-hyped scam in the Texas Legislature was 2017’s “sanctuary cities ban” which resulted in a January 6th-type insurrection from leftists.
6 years later, and we‘ve got situations much worse than sanctuary cities.
Getting voters to re-elect you despite a record of producing the exact opposite of what you promised is a masterful art that requires ongoing maintenance. In response to pressure over Colony Ridge and rumors it harbors an illegal alien supercell, Governor Greg Abbott called for a special session to pass legislation to do the following:
Legislation to do more to reduce illegal immigration by creating a criminal offense for illegal entry into this state from a foreign nation and authorizing all licensed peace officers to remove illegal immigrants from Texas.
We gave our readers a hint that this was a hoax.
The bill was widely reported by the media to be the start of mass deportations.
Last week, during a hearing in the House Committee on State Affairs (where border security bills begin the process to become law) it was announced that some small changes to the bill were coming. The change means shrinking the area the law is applicable by over 99.8%.
Yes, I’m not kidding.
The amendment, which has not yet been adopted, would alter the proposed law covering the entire state and reduce it to apply only within line-of-sight of the border.
The Republican laying out the bill, Charlie Geren, looked very confused and would often just proclaim he didn’t know anything because he is not a lawyer. Surprisingly a DEMOCRAT, Richard Raymond, stated “we should just send [illegal aliens] back” and that he planned to introduce and amendment to deport since this was only media hype and not the clear intent of the bill.
Watch the scam broken down here:
Republicans plan to pass a bill the media claims will create right-wing deportation squads, but the bill will actually do nothing other than serve as a re-election talking point. This scam, assisted by the media hyping the bill as authoritarian, benefits Republican incumbents in Republican areas and Democrats incumbents in Democrat areas by activating their respective party’s base.
Politicians on both sides win. The only one that loses is you!
Why is the border open with fake border security laws passed?
Many people say they President Brandon stole the election and now the Democrats are going to displace those pesky, racist Republican voters with an all new set of voters. These new voters will not only complain less, but may eventually elect a communist outright.
It’s not really a “great replacement” because that is evil, I’m told. Rather, it can be more accurately described as a displacement, because people are not replaceable.
Everyone knows what “secure the border” looks like and what it means, but nobody will say it.
But here’s the thing—you don’t have to say what securing the border actually means, you just start doing it.
That video is unreal. Charlie Geren is retarded.
Raymond labeled it succinctly, this is the “Welcome to Texas” bill.
By my count, this session our politicians are giving us:
1. A Covid vaxx mandate ban (only in industries with no mandates)
2. A school choice program that <1% of students are eligible for.
3. A border security bill that's only applicable to 0.1% of the state.
"Most conservative session ever!"
