It seems that the worst of our society continues to benefit from the criminal justice system that is keen on protecting the dangerous while hurting the innocent.
A man is in critical condition after he was stabbed by a suspect trying to get away from police on the city's north side near Olmos Park late Saturday night.
Officers say a 33-year-old man was in his driveway when the 15-year-old boy walked up and stabbed him in the chest.
The victim was taken to the hospital.
The 15-year-old boy was arrested and faces a charge of aggravated assault.
Aggravated assault? How about attempted murder?
The article also fails to provide any information on the suspect. All we get is that he’s 15.
It brings up an interesting point where you’ve got the government, four years later, still working to hunt down and identify people who illegally entered the Capitol on Jan 6.
But a 15 year old randomly stabs a man in the chest? No rush by the media or government to identify here. Is a J6’er a menace to a society or a 15 year old who stabs an innocent man just hanging out in his own driveway?
Anyone savage enough to stab someone in the chest does not deserve to have his name kept from the public, his age notwithstanding. Moreover, a knife plunged into someone's chest is a lot more than aggravated assault. The charge should be attempted murder, and the attacker should be prosecuted as an adult. The fecklessness of our justice system is largely the reason there are so many violent attacks on innocent victims. Every thug knows how lenient the courts and prosecutors are. Therefore, their inclination to use violence is not impeded by any fear of retribution by the system that coddles them.
Man seems like across the world all these white countries are really reaping the benefits of diversity.
