Vidal Martinez Attacks Alex Mealer's Grandfather
The sign of a desperate campaign...or dementia
This week the Greater Tomball Area Pachyderm Club hosted a debate between Alex Mealer and Vidal Martinez.
Both are in a runoff to determine who will take on Linda Hidalgo for Harris County Judge.
During the debate, Martinez chose to attack Mealer’s grandfather seemingly out of nowhere after mentioning that Mealer cannot speak spanish.
“She doesn’t speak Spanish but uhhhh she’s Hispanic…”
“My problem is Democrats are going to find this picture of Castro to her grandfather as a compatriot in the communist revolution.”

The comment was met with loud boo’s and groans from the audience, Martinez went on to continue digging his hole.
Mealer then took her turn to defend her grandfather.
My grandfather lead the opposition against Frano, a dictator and a fascist, for that he was put in a concentration camp in France.
He took in people from the Bay of Pigs, he fought Fidel.
To say that my grandfather is a communist is the most insulting thing.

Political Twitter was quick to denounce Martinez.
We think the choice is pretty clear in this race.
Also, Mealer can swap an LS3 into a Land Cruiser. Can Martinez? Probably not.
