Democrat candidate for Texas Agriculture Commissioner Clayton Tucker appeared in an interview with “The Gay Liberal,” during which it was stated twice that he had been endorsed by Sid Miller. Tucker did not correct or dispute the claim.
At the 0:12 mark, when the interviewer states that Tucker is endorsed by Miller, Tucker even nods in agreement.
Miller was defeated by Nate Sheets in the Republican primary for Ag Commissioner:
Miller has been seen campaigning and attending events with Tucker, even giving a speech where pro-Tucker signs were held up behind him:
Current Revolt reached out to Todd Smith of the Sid Miller campaign regarding the Tucker interview above. Smith told CR that they have no control over what Tucker “says or doesn’t say.” Smith said that Miller has made no endorsement in the 2026 Ag Commissioner race.
When asked if Miller would be reaching out to Tucker to correct the record regarding the interview, Smith told Current Revolt that they have no contact with the Tucker campaign but also see no issue with the video.
Current Revolt also reached out to Clayton Tucker regarding the interview, Tucker gave the following response:
We have not been endorsed by Commissioner Miller. To our knowledge, neither has Nate Cheets[sic].
