Voting Software “Workaround” Saves Very Secure Dallas Election
Heider Garcia is a menace to society.
The infamous vote-counting machine salesman Heider GarStealer is in the news again. After an alleged “software issue” caused voting machines in Dallas County to malfunction and mysteriously print the “wrong ballots,” the Dallas County Elections Administrator says a “workaround” was implemented to bypass the software problem and that all is well.
Dallas County Elections Administrator Heider Garcia said the software issue with electronic poll books has been fixed.
According to the elections department, on Monday, when voters checked in, some electronic poll books displayed a black screen or error message, and in some cases, they printed the wrong ballot.
Well, there you go. Nothing to see here.
We were able to identify the software problem with the vendor, the vendor provided a workaround for that problem, and today everything is running smoothly,” Garcia said. “Some voters did get the wrong ballot and there’s actually no legal remedy for that.
There’s no legal remedy, but the problem was “fixed” with a “workaround?” What even is this?
Wrong ballot? What does that even mean?
Did it print out Matt Rinaldi‘s ballot from the March Primary with Ron Desantis for president? Did it print out a ballot with George Washington at the top?
Heider previously appeared before the legislature in the Philippines to answer questions about another neat election software workaround that allowed votes to be counted after the election was over.
Elsewhere in Lee County, an official statement was released saying some voting machines have been taken out of service because “the calibration was off” … “possibly causing an incorrect candidate selection.”
In interesting news, according to election data scientist Derek Ryan, Republican turnout looks to be much higher than 2020.
Ryan notes that comparing data from 2024 to 2020 isn’t necessarily fair considering 2020 was an odd year with lockdowns and COVID fear that decreased turnout.

If you love Texas, you need to vote. If you get the wrong ballot, just suck it up and turn it in anyway.
Remember, it’s not what is printed on your ballot that matters; it’s what the computer says is on the ballot that determines the winner.

So, now are all Dallas County Poll Books uncertified?
