What if Dan Patrick Cared About Immigration as Much as he Cares About THC?

What if Dan Patrick Cared About Immigration as Much as he Cares About THC?

You wanted E-Verify, you got a THC ban.

In Texas, we got 99 problems and immigration is every single one.

Thankfully, President Trump is doing something about it.

But the clock is ticking on Trump, and it appears like Gavin Newsom is inevitable. Rather than taking advantage of this MAGA opportunity, Texas Republicans seem to be content to piss it away.

On March 5, 2024, GOP primary voters in Texas were polled on what they thought the state government should actually prioritize. Question #3 went like this:

Nobody asked for a “THC ban.” It wasn’t on the list. It wasn’t even near the list. But somehow, gas station gummies are the hill one fearless Republican leader has chosen to die on.

It’s both curious and corrupt. I was stunned to see this slide out of the Senate with no debate, as if 90% of voters begged for gas station snacks to be the top priority. No, instead the issues concerning 90% of Republicans are ignored.

It would be nice to see Dan Patrick be so tyrannical in advancing the interests of Texans. Sadly, that is not happening.

I’m old enough to remember when we all voted on the question of E-Verify in Texas. It happened all of 17 months ago.

Yes, we have posted this image twice. It is that important.

It’s extremely suspicious why they refuse to even consider this law. If you remember, one of Greg Abbott’s top donors was the Colony Ridge developer.

We’ve asked what is really going on here, and why the initial push for E-Verify was totally fake.
