In the internet age, being an influencer has a certain appeal. When engaging young voters, streamers, “influencers,” and other e-celebs are recruited to advocate for political causes, both Left and Right.
While we definitely need youth engagement, there’s chronic problems within elements of the terminally online Zoomer (Gen. Z) Right requiring resolution. After thorough investigation, here’s the top three.
Bought off
Like their far-Left counterparts, many supposed Right-wing influencers are paid off by moneyed interests. Verified by multiple sources, we uncovered evidence of young social media users getting paid by large special interests firms to promote causes and films influencers may not actually support.
One instance involves people getting paid to promote Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and his new film. While some hype surrounding him is understandable (he’s anti-clot shot and is less Leftward than Biden), he’s still a Democrat who supports affirmative action, and other Left-wing views.
Another cause involving paid enthusiasts is the pro-Ken Paxton movement. Paxton opinions aside, using paid posters on a large scale is a liability; most of these e-celebs would flip if an opponent came along and wrote a bigger check, and would damage the credibility of the movements they compliment. Besides, they never disclose that they’re getting paid for posts. All of this is astroturfed support.
To be clear, I’m unopposed to profiting while promoting Rightism; what’s condemnable is having profit dictate your comments and beliefs, AND not disclosing the fact you’re being payed (which programs like those pictured involve.)
Recycling Leftist Talking Points
An even more egregious tendency among the “conservative” e-celeb community is that many are just Neo-Marxists minus wealth confiscation. While examples are innumerable, one notorious instance was Lolbertarian podcaster Hannah Cox hat-tipping BLM and promoting the conspiracy theory called “systemic racism.”
After much fact-checking, we’ve found there’s more evidence for Bigfoot than systemic racism. If you think accepting subversive’s doctrines makes you strategic and “you’re using their own tactics against them,” you’re buffoonishly mistaken; all you’re doing is making Leftist’s retarded views seem universally acknowledged, shifting the Overton Window Leftward.
There’s nothing revolutionary about parroting the enemy’s talking points and letting them determine the rules of engagement, especially when you’re in lockstep with every subversive institution.
Degenerate and Image obsessed.
Thirdly, the young Right has been infiltrated by sex perverts and egotistical degenerates. For instance, Twitter/X e-celeb Elijah Schaffer was ousted from TheBlaze over allegations he assaulted a female reporter; said reports were confirmed by Blaze pundit Sara Gonzalez. Months later, allegations surfaced of Schaffer cheating on his wife, which many say is correct. All these unanswered allegations, and yet we still haven’t heard anything from this self-proclaimed “social conservative” (whatever he thinks it means.)
A possible reason could be because Schaffer blocked us for our in-depth coverage of his scandal, which makes the accusations seem even more credible.
Of course, there’s also alleged bisexual Steven “Chowder” Crowder, who got caught on video verbally abusing his wife; many allege that he’s also an adulterer. That said, his divorce case is still ongoing, and it’s too early to draw conclusions.
I’m not saying all young pundits are money-grubbers, controlled opposition, morons, and perverts; we at Current Revolt happen to be young guys ourselves, and there’s others doing great work (Allie Beth Stuckey, John Doyle, Bull Moose Project, and New Columbia Movement to name a few.) That said, like the old guard, the young Right needs to clean house before it can obtain greatness.
Thankfully, the NeverTrump movement will never return amongst Zoomer conservatives. NeverTrumptards are more terminally online than groypers (which says something), and excluding pearl-clutching estrogenics and curmudgeons who think McCain died for their sins, they’re near extinct outside the greater DC metro, New England, and Orange County, CA. However, there’s other subversions to watch for.
Engaging and politically evangelizing Gen-Z requires an ideological vanguard guiding the young Right, that’ll achieve not mere online wins, but victory in reality.
There’s exponential potential among Gen-Z, especially its men, and we need to recruit better; Baby Boomers won’t be around to pay the bills forever, and as writer Gabe Guidarini notes, the GOP’s senile approach of ignoring youth is self-defeating. In fact, more Gen-Z men are identifying as conservative than liberal by the widest margins ever; if we don’t reach out, we’re missing a golden opportunity.
Unfortunately, Gen-Z girls (easily manipulated by emotional appeals) still require electoral maintenance. We’re not financial advisors, but we suggest buying stock in foreign dating sites (is wanting a wife without technicolor hair, a septum ring, or mental illness too much to ask?)
On a serious note, if the young Right desires triumph, it needs to straighten itself, organize, and try winning physical victories instead of virtual ones. The GOP desperately needs new blood, and an enlightened youthful base interested in saving America is exactly what’ll fulfill this dire necessity.
The problem with zoomers and millennials is you can never tell if they’re gay or not.
