For anyone involved in politics it’s well known that youth groups generally get sucked in by the homo-right or neocon crowd. The promise of dry chicken and rubber beef gala dinners and photo-ops with cringe politicians who think they’re celebrities is generally all that’s needed to sway Republican youth to do their bidding.
One group gets it right though.
Young Conservatives of Texas at Baylor University has a Twitter account that provides excellent opinions and is a breath of fresh air when it comes to young-Republican groups.
