The culture/media/bureaucracy de facto creates thousands of pseudo laws every year. This session in Texas, the political class stuck their fingers in two or three holes of our sinking ship, probably created a couple dozen and intentionally ignored decades worth of prior damage.
Our "wins" today are so absurd on their face that we would have scoffed at the idea of calling them wins five to ten years ago. Ten years ago, we would have said that law already exists to throw child butchers in prison; because it did. The law also already existed for penalizing adults pushing smut on children.
So true. Same with abortion, it was already illegal and they’ve passed multiple laws making it illegal again, calling it a win for themselves! And the fact that we are now having to look at pedophilia precursors speaks very much to the sinking ship analogy.

I knew things were bad pre-covid but the covid insanity revealed the scam to me in ways I almost wish I could unsee. There are a lot of hard pills to swallow these days.
Why in the world would insurance companies cover transgender surgeries? Is that why we can't afford the premiums for employer sponsored medical insurance and we're forced to sign up for Obamacare? Texit can't happen soon enough.
And yet the root of all the corruption doesn't even get an 'honorable mention'. Vote fraud+stolen elections= RINOS continue getting selected NOT elected. Every other issue pales in comparison and yet most people don't 'get it'. Keep talking about all the issues you are going to try and get passed to infinity and beyond. If we don't get rid of ALL electronic voting, just stay home. Why bother at all?
