There are programs just like this all across the federal government and NGOs and nonprofits. FEMA does this thru NGOs when they come to help with "recovery". Something I did not see covered in the article is that this in turn allows-causes-your local government the very same one than we continue to call "my friend"--to raise your taxes more than they already do. All that "help" the government knows and shares with all. Example-- NGOs come and help you "rebuild"---adding central air and heat instead of fans and heaters--now your taxing unit says your property has doubled in value...little things like that that we never talk about. This is not about doing what's right or God's work as churches like for you to believe. This is a new way or a silent way for the American people to be slaves once again. Look how we trap animals--we put the cage out there for some time with no effort for use---then we start spreading the food around THEN, only after the animal knows the trap poses no danger does the hunter put the food in the trap with purpose. A random autozone employee told me that during this last cold snap his family in Houston lost electricity for days. The fed wants Texas homes full electric, but the load is already too high.
The conspiracy theorist in me can't help but think that this plan is not born of stupidity; it's by design. It's much easier to control a population if you control the energy powering homes.
