Dallas County Commissioner John Wiley Price Faces No Charges After Alleged Assault
Dallas PD says nothing illegal based on footage they saw.
Dallas Democrat officials seem to have a tendency to get themselves into legal trouble lately.
Such was the case with Dallas County Commissioner John Wiley Price when an election worker filed a complaint against Price after she alleges he assaulted her.
Cynthia Stairs, 63, alleged Price knocked her phone out of her hand and told her to leave in a threatening manner on Saturday before the municipal elections, after she arrived at the Friendship-West Baptist Church for her assignment.
Stairs said that Price, who she did not recognize at first but later identified after seeing a picture on a bus, came into the precinct "in a rage," and “lifts up his hand high and he whacks my hand and drives (the phone) to the ground.”
He did not touch her again, but used his body as “a driving force with the threat of hitting me with his hands in the air and yelling at me ‘Get out of here, get out of here!’" she claimed. When she went outside, she was blocked from coming back in.
Based on what she said it seems Price was just casually wildin’ out and ol’ girl Cynthia just got caught in the crossfire.
According to CBSNews, DPD reviewed the security footage of the incident and said Price did nothing wrong as it’s currently not illegal to be wildin’ out.
This wouldn’t be the first time Price was caught getting a little physical with others. Nine years ago Price was caught on camera seemingly choking someone
The ban on wildin’ out was set to be on Lt. Gov Dan Patrick’s top legislative priorities this year but was bumped for a THC ban instead.
We have term limits in Dallas now...he has maxed out his 8 year limit. GTFO! DOGE Price! He is as corrupt as they come!
How will the Anti-wildin’ Out bill affect Deep Ellum?
