Dallas County Elections Trainer Tells Election Workers to Lie
They advise to use church addresses to register homeless.
In a video posted on X this week, a Dallas County Elections worker seemingly tells people during a training that they can use a church as a residence address to register homeless people.
In the video, someone asks if they should use a church address to register the homeless individual. The worker tells them the church is the homless individual’s “residence address” since they “live in that area.”
Seems a bit broad.
Texas penal code 37.10 defines the crime of tampering with a government record, which includes falsification of government records.
Although it is legal to register a homeless person’s address at a shelter or a residence where they can receive mail, questions arise about whether a church qualifies as a proper mailing address.
If a church can be used as a residential address for voting purposes, can anyone use it, or does it only apply to the homless? Can someone change church locations every year?
Lots of questions here. Hopefully we’ll see some sort of response from the Texas Secretary of State.
The cheating from the filthy DemocRATS never stops and the spinelessness of our elected/selected Republicans NEVER ENDS!
If the person is homeless at the juncture of registering to vote, there is a great likelihood they are not concerned about getting mail and therefore had not utilized a mailing address. Using a church for this purpose with no intent to receive mail there is nefarious in of itself.
