El Paso Leftists Begging To Keep Gay Porn Mandate For Libraries
They're losing and they're crying about it.
Many far-Left infiltrators in El Paso institutions are whining about the Texas House’s surprise rightward turn; since Rep. Jared Patterson’s HB 900 might pass, local deviants are furious.
Other groups, like the Young Women’s “Christian” Association (YWCA), which platformed LGBTQP propaganda to begin with, signaled they would put up a fight to keep their grooming propaganda books.
Per El Paso Matters:
The Texas Legislature is currently considering several bills that may ban books in schools that include content on sexual orientation, gender identity and sexual activity. Among the bills being considered are Senate Bill 13, House Bill 900 and House Bill 1804.
In El Paso, youth, authors, librarians and other community members are pushing back.
Last year, the city, in collaboration with the YWCA Paso del Norte Region, installed a banned books section at city library branches. “Books have been challenged and banned throughout history, and we are seeing a reemergence today,” the YWCA announced then. “Silencing and limiting of stories, histories, and points of view of anyone are direct attacks on the people who write and are represented in those books.”
A city of El Paso resolution, created and passed unanimously by council in February 2022, declares that every public library in the city would have a banned books section, highlight the books year-round and form a partnership to accept the books from the YWCA.
The partnership between the two entities, Annello said, served as a message to the public that it wasn’t just a city initiative but a collaboration with community partners that is continuing and can be expanded.
The article continues on, noting that these weirdos are demanding affirmative action in book selection and demanding kids learn about weird stuff creepy people do in their bedrooms.
On another note, isn’t it interesting that while Republican leaders rarely bother to advance their base’s social position even slightly, Democrats make it mandatory to associate with their coalition?

The consequences for rebelling against the status quo can come in the form of state budget cuts for public libraries.
“The state of Texas can’t come into our facilities and tell us what we can and cannot have,” Annello said. “They’re saying they’re going to cut funding if we have these books. We’ve stood strong, and if it’s about finding other funding to keep our libraries going instead of silencing our community and silencing the stories, that’s something that we will do.”
All this coping for such a recent bill, and somehow we’re “fragile.” Notice how neurotic these loons get when confronted with actual opposition. Of course, the pervert caucus screams about persecution and a looming homocaust. Since when is making your depravities not merely public but mandatory viewing a mark of “persecution?” Judging by other groups with engrained resentment and entitlement, how long till LGBTQP groups demand reparations?
About the group kickstarting this circus, the local YWCA heads are empirically apostates; there’s nothing Christian about hosting monkeypox superspreaders near places children frequent.
The El Paso Del Norte YWCA is hands-down a subversive group. The first thing you see on their website is a party for a holiday advocated by BLM to replace July 4th, and whoever runs their Facebook page seems obsessed with “racial justice” (whatever that means).
For future reference, people shouldn’t automatically sympathize with groups slapping “Christian” on their name; there’s a reason Jesus warned of “wolves in sheep’s clothing” (Matthew 7:15).
Pro-tip: actually research self-proclaimed “Christian” organizations before backing them. That said, if a church has something like this out front, chances are it’s great.
Getting back to El Paso, which has been under a health advisory since early May due to an illegal alien tsunami, the health crisis will worsen; you can add monkeypox and AIDS to the list of third-world diseases afflicting local medical systems. It was never about public welfare, but catering to an ever-depraved base that’ll stop at nothing to vainly satisfy their every hedonistic desire and importing a new base to get them closer.
Leftists continue to cry louder, especially after the passing of SB-14. We must continue to push for further reforms like HB 900 to make Texas inhospitable to groomers. When debauchees like the aforementioned label you “insensitive” or “uncompassionate,” remember these are the same creeps supporting your child’s dismemberment; considering their private activities, they have NO place pearl-clutching.
