I oppose wind mills cause they’re ugly. At least coal plants look cool and they have those smoke stacks pumping out the building blocks of life...carbon
Both relying on wind & solar energy certainly puts anyone at the mercy of Mother Nature, & as of yet, I do not believe we are capable of storing it for later use on days where there's no wind or no sun out. Then there are those pesky, rare but still possible, hail storms that can take out a whole solar panel field in no time. I'm all in for building more natural gas plants. We sit on lots of it; enough to sell to Europe. I see absolutely no reason for Texans to "conserve" or suffer the lack of either heat or AC at any time . . . unless it's merely about controlling us. Texas has the same Uni-Party that the Federal Govt does.
