I had been somewhat active in trying to inform and engage people to local politics, but I found a lot of resistance from Republicans. I should actually say what those people are, in reality they are lazy, country club type of Republicans. I was appalled that one person I spoke with didn't even want to consider Allen West because she didn't know who he was and my perception was because he is black too. He was my candidate and I tried to explain to her what his plans were and that Huffiness would also be a good choice but she insisted that Abbott was doing a good job at the border. 😳 There were others that believed the same and when I challenged them with facts and invited them to research further, none was willing to do that. That's why I call them lazy.
