Illegal aliens are like a box of chocolate—You never know what you’re gonna get.
You will, however, get sued.
NBC:
The Justice Department is threatening to sue Texas if it enforces a new state law that lets police arrest migrants who illegally cross the border, according to a letter obtained by NBC News.
In the letter, sent Thursday to Republican Gov. Greg Abbott, the Justice Department argued that the law, which Abbott signed this month, is unconstitutional and that implementing it would result in a federal lawsuit.
The Framers wrote the Constitution so that a future government could open the borders for people who can’t read or speak English.
Yep, that checks out.
The statute "effectively creates a separate state immigration scheme by imposing criminal penalties for violations of federal provisions on unlawful entry and reentry into the United States ... and by authorizing state judges to order the removal of noncitizens from the United States,” wrote Brian Boynton, a top official in the Justice Department's civil division.
We could do a history lesson here on states deporting foreigners; I think we did that a few years ago? Basically, Texas has done something like this before—deporting illegal aliens when their numbers were too large and people were complaining. However, that was during the early 20th century, when the federal government was not trying to harm the people who disagreed with a gay third-world global communism agenda, which sums up the current situation quite well.
Texas is trying to do the same thing today—deport all these random people—and unsurprisingly the Feds are willing to go to war with Texas to make sure the invasion continues.
The state law makes “illegal entry from a foreign nation” into Texas a crime and allows the state to charge migrants with a misdemeanor punishable by up to six months in jail or a $2,000 fine. It is set to go into effect March 5.
The Justice Department argued that the law violates the Constitution, which gives the federal government — rather than states — responsibility for controlling international borders. It also wrote that the Texas law "undermines the United States' foreign relations."
Personally I don’t think stopping a violent gang rape “undermines relations” with Mexico. I would imagine they would understand we are tired of dealing with this.
However, I’m sad to report this law won’t stop anything. From the House report on SB 4:
An order to return to a foreign nation could be issued only if the individual being prosecuted:
agreed to the order
The very first stipulation says the illegal alien must agree to be deported! This is just the start of how goofy this is.
In order for someone to be deported, they must:
Confess to police they crossed the border between a port of entry.
Agree to be deported.
Forget they can simply claim asylum at any time.
Does this sound serious to you?
Traitors to this country are openly committing sedition by coaching illegals on how they can avoid this fake border security bill.
While Texas Republicans are campaigning for reelection based on how they have secured the border, independent journalists are telling a different story.
Here, a random foreigner admits they plan to have you pay to solve their problems.
Everyone knows what’s going on.
How many illegals are Texas Republicans anticipating are going to agree to be deported under SB4?
Four? Eleven? Sixteen?
Apparently, this is too many for the Feds.
You may be shocked to learn that the House Research Organization didn’t give an estimate on how many illegals would be deported under SB4 or how much the program will cost. I have a feeling the real cost on the ground will be very fiscally responsible.
Ask your State Rep or State Senator — What is the number of illegal aliens they believe will be deported by SB4?
So, the only ones that will agree to be deported will be those that want an expense paid trip back home, thanks to Texas taxpayers?
One of Trump's promises is mass deportations are incoming and will be one of the first things his administration will tackle. He keeps his promises.
