BOOS drown Cornyn but didn't stop his speaking nor change anything he said nor the fact the establishment invited him to speak IMO we should have all gotten up and walked out so he was left with empty chairs! Not once did we talk about the J6 prisoners and how they are being held on misdemeanor charges at best. Didn't once talk about TEXANS still being arrested by the feds for J6. Their lives have been destroyed plain and simply. Very little was talked about the border crisis just enough to say--Hey I care! Now we thank the Republican party**to elect once again a candidate that is in it for him not for the citizens. I don't support either Frazier or Chabot. But we are republicans and we put friendship before all else. Isn't this what we hear???We will put democrats as chairs because those are the backroom deals we make. The speaker even says outloud that he makes these backroom deals. For us to pretend that we don't support the corruption is just the Big Lie. When we actually have a chance to vote for any outsider like Trump is for DC we don't. Yours/my county chair encourages the democrats to vote in our primaries because that keeps the status quo and again, we are ok with allowing the party to decide who we will vote for. What happened to the vice chair's statement. and I'm going to find and really vet candidates---This is why we have to have all these "new voters" every year because too many every year say My Vote Doesn't Matter**the party proves this over and over to be true statements. SAD SAD
Closing primaries still won't help much, because anyone can register for whatever party they want (they just need to be ready to get all the mail, email, and phone calls from their new party!). What works is CONSERVATIVES getting out to vote, getting their friends out to vote, and showing up at the polls, INCLUDING as trained poll watchers to root out any shenanigans. Our best hope is securing elections (but good luck with that, as I believe both sides use the system which is why neither seems to be interested in investigating it) - or overwhelming the elections offices with actual conservative voters. Conservatives also need to educate themselves on how to look up candidates campaign finances, see who is financing their candidate, and what THAT tells them (grassroots? establishment? liberal? red tie, blue shorts?!) - I'd love to see a piece here on CR about the various groups that contribute to campaigns..... there is a lot on transparencyusa.org but we need to aggregate it somewhere. Love what you did with Frazier's finances above with the annotations!
The question everyone needs to be asking is not wether he was elected but wether he was chosen to be the winner. Since we still have not resolved the issues of the stolen 2020 election and are still using the electronic machines that have been proven to be rigged time and time again, we get cheats and RINOS like Cornyn over and over. Anyone once wonder if Cornyn actually won all those Primary challenges over the years or was the election rigged like I suspect ???? Either Texas Republican voters are lazy uninformed asses (many are) or the elections have been getting rigged by both Parties ever since electronic machines began getting used. We MUST go back to paper ballots, voting only on Super Tuesday at OUR polling locations and no more mail in ballots unless you have a damned good excuse to be getting one and the vetting needs to be rigorous. Oh yeah, one more important factor.... we must also CLOSE OUR PRIMARY to Republican voters ONLY. No more DemocRATS crossing over to vote for those RINOS we want to run out of the Party. Until we get serious about this, complaining is a waste of time.
I agree, his opponent is so much worse!!! I sincerely hope the republican voters can pull themselves together to support the candidate that won the primaries.
I cannot believe you guys are defending Frazier and condemning Chabot. Chabot was the true conservative and had every conservative endorsement out there, including the NRA (Frazier lied about his NRA credentials). Chabot deserved to win. Frazier is a crook. And if Chabot has different ideas at least he has IDEAS - he is trying!!! He would have been surrounded by other conservatives in Austin and he would have learned the ropes. Frazier is slimy as slimy can get and I cannot believe he got elected (about 1800 of his votes were Democrats, fyi). So here we are, either going to put a criminal in office or a Democrat in my District. This is a bad look for CR.
