SHOCKER: House Republicans pick Absolute Scumbag for GOP Caucus Chair
Super Patriot Luke Macias recently covered the latest scam run by House Republicans in selecting the worst possible person to chair the House Republican Caucus.
Imagine my shock.
Appearing on his show, Luke detailed how Republican State Representative Jim Murphy is openly corrupt, and his corruption seems to be the key to his success in advancing to ever more important leadership roles.
Highlights:
He’s a State Representative [HD133 – Houston]
Also employed by Houston’s Westchase District; a government agency that manages a business district in Houston
It’s against the law to work for two government agencies
Westchase District funded by property taxes
Murphy receives bonuses for securing money/contracts for Westchase doled out by the government to which he has special access
Murphy was also the Chair of the committee that oversees these special districts
He claims he’s just a “contractor” for Westchase while being listed on their website as being the “General Manager”
He’s working under a suspiciously-worded contract
He makes $26,000 a month, over $300k a year
The whole thing smells like a giant screw job.
The district is even shaped like a hand giving Texas taxpayers the middle finger.
At about the 3 minute mark of the Macias video, Luke shows a clip from a local news station that aired about 2 years ago. In the segment, a reporter tries to ask Murphy what’s going on with the Westchase situation, and the dude literally flees down the emergency stairs in the back.
The reporter then shows up at Murphy’s house with his contract in hand.
Reporter: “Are you an independent contractor, a consultant, a general manager, what are you?”
Traitor Murphy: (nervous laughter) HAHAHAHA, no, I appreciate your interest, and I know you’re working hard.
When asked about how much he has made in bonuses (taxpayer money paid to him for securing taxpayer funding for this district) he claimed he made 10x less than the real amount.
The whole situation is a complete and utter scam. You’re not legally allowed to work for two government entities in this way. The guy just claims he’s giving casual advice as a contractor with a bizarrely specific contract while raking in $312,000 a year.
It’s not an ethics concern it’s an ethics apocalypse.
Where’s Mr. Ethics of the Texas House on this?
Even Sarah Davis, who supports mother’s murdering their own children, thinks there is a major ethics concern here.
Luke makes a great point in the video, in that the Republican legislature continues to elevate this type of scumbag behavior as a model to emulate for junior lawmakers. If you want to get ahead, you need to find creative ways to skirt the law.
Murphy also shilled for Ladyboy Dennis Bonnen when it was exposed that he was also a top scumbag. Murphy listened to the MQS tapes before they were public and proclaimed that Bonnen did nothing wrong and said there was no request to target any Republicans, an extremely brazen lie.
This guy hasn’t had a primary challenger since 2013, by the way.
Jim Murphy has only done one thing right in his entire career.
Basically, we keep having this same problem in Texas politics. We have some of the worst politicians in the entire country.
We need to increase the legislator salaries.
These $30k gigs are not attracting the talent we need. It’s attracting people who are in the business of collecting rents because these are the only people who can afford to take a $30k/year job.
It’s no wonder we are getting lawmakers who act like slumlords in the People’s House.
