Fort Bend County, home of the spectacular 90-foot tall Lord Hanuman monkey statue, is facing new challenges in diversity: Diversity of scams.
And this isn’t at all about race, or whatever, because everyone involved is Indian.
Sadly, it appears even some Democrats are getting fed up with the scams, and now local Party leadership is calling for the resignation of a Democrat Judge after he was charged in multiple schemes, including laundering money and organizing fake racist Facebook posts.
Fort Bend County Judge KP George was charged with two counts of money laundering after George allegedly transferred campaign money to himself, between $30k and $150k. While it is not abnormal for a political candidate to transfer campaign money for repayment of loans, the finance report showed that during the timeframe of January 12 and April 22nd of 2019, George did not document any loan repayment to himself.
Late last year, George was hit with misdemeanor charges for misrepresentation of identity in another scandal tied to another story Current Revolt covered.
Democrat Who IMPERSONATED White Man for Hate Hoax is Arrested
This man’s campaign was so out of control that it was actually illegal.
Both KP George and his former Chief of Staff, Taral Patel, were charged in an alleged scheme to make a fake Facebook account of George’s Republican opponent and post fake racist comments to stir up racial hatred against whites, and drive donations to his campaign. It is alleged that while Patel made the fake Facebook account and posted the fake messages, George was aware and allowed Patel to operate this scheme.
When George was booked for his misdemeanor charge stemming from the fake Facebook account, he alleged that he was mistreated and subjected to “an unnecessary hold by Immigration and Customs Enforcement or ICE despite his long-standing U.S. citizenship and elected position.” Many people are saying that the reason for this ICE hold was that the US government couldn’t believe we would let someone like George into our country.
The Fort Bend County Democratic Party Chairman, Fred G. Taylor, put out a statement calling on Judge George to resign immediately, stating in a television interview that “where there is smoke, there is fire.”
At this time, Judge KP George is refusing to step down and maintains his innocence.
He looks like a very trustworthy fellow.
Subcontinent IQ if I’ve ever seen one.
CR should chat with people he knew before he became political
