Ken Paxton Ending “Gun-Free Zone” at State Fair

The corporate entity that runs the State Fair of Texas declared Fair Park in Dallas “The Most Texas Place On Earth!”

However, suddenly, and for reasons that are not clear, decision makers inside the State Fair started advertising the fair as a gun-free zone.

Not only is the Fair creating a dangerous environment, they are trashing the good name of Texas.

In fact, a few State Reps took notice.

A letter bearing the official seal of Texas “encouraging” the Fair’s Board of Directors to reconsider the gun ban was circulating Facebook, where things tend to circulate.

It’s good to see Jeff Leach and David Lowe can agree that we shouldn’t abolish the Constitution ad-hoc.

But when it comes to respecting the Constitution, Texans know who they can trust.

Attorney General Ken Paxton is ordering Dallas to tell the idiots at the Fair that they can’t ban guns because the property is owned by We The People!

There aren’t many people backing the plan to create helpless victims at the fair, except mass shooters, obviously.

It’s good to consult with subject matter experts when crafting public policy. However, the Editorial Board of Current Revolt recommends that The State Fair of Texas not listen to the advice of aspiring mass shooters by following through on their proposed “gun-free kill zone fair experience,” nor should they consult with Democrats, who promote this experience everywhere.

It’s actually a wonderful act of kindness on Paxton’s part to insist that Texans have their Second Amendment rights. After all, Democrats would be the ones killed if a mass shooting happened. They struggle figuring out what is going on in every situation.
