Texas Fair Bans Guns, Secret Entrance for Shooters Still Open?
What are they trying to accomplish?
After a 2023 shooting at the Texas State Fair where a shooter allegedly passed a gun through a hole in security fencing, the Fair declared itself a “gun-free zone” in lieu of fixing the fence, according to sources.
Security at the State Fair of Texas will change this season, including prohibiting concealed firearms to be carried in Fair Park.
Organizers said when Big Tex welcomes visitors from around the world this year they'll enter Fair Park through redesigned entrances and be subjected to more thorough screenings.
Welcome to the Fair, a Victim Disarmament Zone since 2024.
I wonder how that will turn out?
People visiting the fair will also be screened for weapons. No guns or weapons of any kind, including concealed carry, will be allowed in the fairgrounds. This is a departure from last season when people licensed for concealed carry were allowed to be armed in the park. The fair will no longer allow licensed concealed carry in Fair Park.
"For us to continue offering a safe event for all, we feel this is an important measure to implement," the fair said in a statement. "Other events like the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo, and Rodeo Austin follow similar weapons policies as well."
America, someone gets shot so you lose your rights—just like the Founders envisioned.
For those who don’t know, a “gun free zone” is a place where the property owner advertises their business in a way that attracts aspiring mass shooters. It’s widely believed to be the most effective advertisement on the market.
The decision to create the Constitution-free area comes after a shooting last year by the fine gentleman below. After an argument, he decided to pull a gun.
Texas state officials and organizations have responded negatively to the ban:
Texas Gun Rights additionally released a statement, calling on the Texas State Fair to rescind their new policy:
In a recent interview on Chad Hasty, a security guard for the Texas State Fair alleged that the gun used in the shooting last year evaded security by using a hole in the fence.
The security guard claims the hole STILL hasn’t been fixed!
It’s curious how certain shooting incidents immediately trigger widespread bans on citizen’s rights.
You rarely see the media promote good guys with guns who stop mass shootings the way they dig up victim’s memories year after year for their political agenda.
Last month in Harris County, a guy in his underwear rescued a 15-year-old girl from a rape attack by pointing a gun at the assailant.
There is a total gun ban in prison for the inmates, and they are constantly raping each other.
I personally don’t want to attend the State Fair of Texas with an increased chance of rape.

Will Alex Rosen be performing at the Fair?
The woke idiots just don't get it yet but they will when attendance at the fair tanks to its lowest.
