TX Comptroller Announces End of Anti-White Discrimination Statewide
A curiously delightful occurrence took place this week as new Texas Comptroller Kelly Hancock announced he is dismantling the state-run DEI juggernaut known as the Historically Underutilized Business program.
After being created in 1995, the program has smothered every political subdivision in the state under a layer of bureaucratic discrimination targeting one group: white males. The program gave special preference in government contracts to anyone who wasn’t a white man.
It was so sadistic that even Thai billionaires received DEI preference for no reason other than not being white men.
This is how the Texas government has been run for 30 years. When a problem arises, everyone stops what they are doing and searches high and low for anyone besides a white male who can solve the problem.
What were people smoking when these laws were passed?
Whatever it was, people are now smoking better stuff, apparently, and things are slowly being set straight.
Hancock said this was a top priority for him.
We have covered the sinister HUB program at length over the years.
When the program kept going even after Abbott’s order banning DEI in January, it started to look like DEI was invincible.
Apparently, possibly, maybe, this program might be on the way out.
Did Kelly Hancock really just deliver?
Are the legal THC gummies partly, or mostly to blame for this change in the government’s direction.
Hey, we’ll take the wins, and continue to monitor the situation.
Win, but monitor.
