Welcome to “Many People Are Saying” our weekly paid-subscriber article where we feature rumors we’re hearing, inside gossip in the political world, and projects and pieces we’re working on that we haven’t published yet.
This week you are getting something a little different, each staff member has written their “take” on the election. Breaking it down in ways only Current Revolt can.
This is a bonus feature for our paid subs, so if you’re interested, please subscribe! But first, a sample of what y’all are missing.

Totally fake elections appear to be a part of our New Normal.
It’s now 3 days after the election and nobody knows who won in countless critical races?
It’s all very serious and normal. We live in a serious country.
What did the election look like going into Tuesday?
Core conservative Republican issues like the economy, immigration, energy prices, crime, and foreign policy, are all (arguably) the worst they have ever been.
Inflation is 10% (or worse)
Immigration - worst it’s ever been
Energy, oil prices are terrible, raping everyone’s wallets
Crime has exploded since 2020
US is now in a proxy war with Russia over Ukraine for reasons nobody can explain
All this and yet mysteriously, Republicans didn’t do that well in many areas of the country.
It’s so mysterious!
It is harder to cheat in Texas. This is true.
Texas has the nation’s number 1 election hoax watchdog, who also happened to WIN re-election bigly.
Ken Paxton.
Paxton spit on his haters after his victory over Democratic challenger Rochelle Garza, telling supporters Tuesday night that "reports of my demise have been greatly exaggerated.”
Those retarded weirdos at Texans for Lawsuit Reform and all the disgusting parasites who orbit around them once again failed to get rid of Paxton after they backed that Mexican chick in the primary. They deserve exile or death, but this win is the next best thing.
Ken Paxton is actually trying to represent the people of Texas, which is a terrible thing to public traitors!
2 of “The Big 3” stars of the critically-acclaimed comic Transgender Avengers comic, both won re-election comfortably: Greg Abbott and Dan Patrick.
Dade Phelan, hasn’t had an opponent in any election since 2014. Ballotpedia has a good list of all the lies he told back in 2014 to get elected.
Well, maybe Phelan’s promise on ensuring the water supply wasn’t a lie. I mean, water literally falls from the sky. So thank you Dade for giving us water?
Did Sid Miller win? You bet.
Sid Miller has eternally earned my vote—no matter what—after he gave Hillary Clinton the “see you next Tuesday” treatment.
In the races for County Judge we saw Tim O’Hare in Tarrant County was able to overcome Democrat Deborah Peoples and her crackhead ballot harvesting army.
In Dallas County, Democrat Clay Jenkins won re-election after his daughter boasted on TikTok that she was engaging in voter suppression and voter intimidation. Sad!
Finally in Harris County, Lina Hidalgo, the Tan Beauty Queen who fled South American simps and landed right in my heart, won re-election over her well-funded Republican challenger.
The elections in Harris County are about as honest as a $3 bill.
But I don’t really care.
Listen, if bae want to twerk and fraud and stuff them ballots then let shawty do it.
People over politics and bosoms over ballots.
The rest of our takes after the paywall.
