Welcome to “Many People Are Saying” our weekly paid-subscriber article where we feature rumors we’re hearing, inside gossip in the political world, and projects and pieces we’re working on that we haven’t published yet.
This week we’ve got a weak response from a precinct chair on our Matt Shaheen article, an elite school in Dallas is assigning schoolwork comparing Trump to Hitler, text messages from a Collin County state rep shows he’s triggered by a meme, and CRT policy changes at a school show it may have turned it into a jungle!
This is a bonus feature for our paid subs, so if you’re interested, please subscribe!
But first, a sample of what y’all are missing.
Collin County Precinct Chair Provides Cover for Matt Shaheen
Many people are saying that State Representative Matt Shaheen is finished after his bizarre attack on a Texas Holiday came to light this week. The Holiday in question is a day to honor the ancestors of many Americans who died in battle after their state government entered into a war. This is known as the American Civil War.
The Republican out of Collin County has made an effort to go into Texas law with precision and erase Confederate Heroes Day, which is found in the state law next to Texas Independence Day. As Shaheen goes on a jihad to erase our Holidays, his Twitter bio reads that he is of the lineage of recent immigrants from the Middle East.
This is Ilhann Omar levels of extremism wrapped up as being trendy. The optics of the whole thing are really a bit much to claim to be a hardcore conservative, but then you’re erasing history like a communist?
We did hear about some people who support Shaheen and his bill, and they weren’t very happy.
Responding to our article in an an email to Republican Party activists, pro-Shaheen shill, Robert Canright, said, “While poll greeting I have had plenty of people from the middle-east tell me that they recognize Shaheen as a middle-eastern name.”
Yes, many people are saying. Indeed.
Calling our article a “hit piece” they went on to say,
“Matt has indeed written HB599 that eliminates one paid holiday for state workers. That is a fiscally conservative action”
These are direct quotes.
“The article did spin the bill as an attack on our history instead of a cost saving measure.”
Come on bro.
We’re all being made poor by fallout from the Covid hysteria, which is an agenda to destroy the world economy so they can “build back better.” Shaheen’s solution to these attacks on our money is to erase our history? What will that do exactly?
The commenter also says we have to erase Confederate Heroes Day because BLM and Antifa do terrorism. I don’t know if this person thought about this statement before they sent it, because that is the most cowardly position imaginable. At the same time, I could see this being a statement straight from Shaheen himself. His over-the-top mask selfies in 2020 really showed he is eager to submit to the system, and the Covid mask is the official sign you are a good slave.
Doing the right thing is not always popular, and telling the truth in today’s world has a high cost. Covid was a good test to see who would go along with the most ridiculous lies imaginable, even if it was hurting everyone immensely.
American society has been building its foundation on a sand bed of lies, and many people have enriched the themselves building their houses on this unsure foundation. The real estate of selling comforting lies and enemy propaganda costs nothing.
Nobody will de-bank Shaheen for trying to erase our Holidays. Nobody will kick him off social media for saying the people in America’s history are so evil they must be erased.
If the defense of this bill is “it saves money by Erasing Confederate Heroes Day and creating a ‘floating holiday” then Shaheen needs to pull this bill immediately because that is frankly embarrassing.
But is it actually possible Shaheen is pioneering a third position here.
Not that kind of third position. But I could see that, maybe Shaheen is going for the moderate centrist, anti-trump guy who pushes anti-white policy by saying “it’s fiscally conservative.”
Maybe.
These Freedom Caucus people can literally end up anywhere on any issue.
Dallas Elite School Assigning Work Comparing Trump to Hitler
The School for the Talented and Gifted (TAG) in Dallas is doing the whole “compare Trump to Hitler” thing that leftists have been doing since 2015.
We were sent the below screenshot, allegedly of a work assignment from TAG at Yvonne A. Ewell Townview Center in Dallas.
This sort of comparison has been made endlessly by libtards for years now. It’s exhausting and boring, but it’s a new thing for this to be pushed by a public elite school.
As we’ve said often, public schools exist to push mainstream leftist propaganda on children first and foremost, actual learning (reading, writing, math) and life skills comes second.
Your tax dollars hard at work.
