We’ve come a long way from H-E-B not selling alcohol because they were Baptists 😑 great illustration of just how quickly family values can wither and die in just a few generations (probably also has something to do with how money corrupts)
As kids, spending time in Uvalde with my GPs, we used to run down to H-E-B when we wanted something. You might even meet one of the Butts. How times have changed for the worse; too many tyrants.
When I lived in McAllen from 1978-1994, the H.E.B. store was my store of choice because of how it was kept clean, great groceries, great value, etc. When I moved to Mt. Pleasant, there was WalMart. Then, recently, I read that Mr. Butt supports the "Drag Queen movement," wherein they can have their "parties" where children be allowed to attend!!!!! I am for people doing/living as they chose, but I am totally against subjecting our younger generation to the abuse of their minds, confusing them as to what kind of lifestyle is not what God, my Heavenly Father, desires for his children. Where are the Sunday Schools for these children to receive a Godly education to grow their spiritual minds to where they can become our great spiritual leaders that our world needs now! I am afraid that the $$$$$ benefactors are putting their money into satanic, liberal theories/philosophies and leading bright minds down the wrong paths that will lead them to destruction instead of the narrow path to Heaven, when that time comes! God only help us today--now!
