I switched from smoking cigarettes to vaping in March 2014. If I had $1 for every time I've been accused on Twitter/X of getting paid to post about vaping, I'd be living in a much bigger house than the one I live in right now.
It's VERY obvious to me (almost immediately, based on the wording of the posts) that these "influencers" posting about vaping didn't do any research before they posted. The only thing they're concerned about is what their bank balance is going to say after the post goes up.
Had they done any research, they'd learn that almost everything vape-related (re: hardware) is manufactured in China. The e-liquids (commonly known as "vape juice") my husband and I use are made in the UK, but the disposable vapes I use (from the same company as my e-liquid) and every piece of vape-related hardware (the non-disposable vape mods) we own were/are manufactured in China.
Their arguments about "flavors being used to hook children" is both old news and pure bullshit. Long-time former smokers need flavored vapes to distance themselves from the taste of burnt tobacco. Hell, I'm 37 and my favorite vape flavor is Lemon Tart. My husband is 45 and he likes Watermelon Ice.
These "influencers" really need to try harder if they're trying to hide being paid to say stuff like the examples in Damin's post. For people like me who have been vaping for a decade, we can smell the money behind them from miles away.
Missed this. Thank you! And read your story yesterday as well. That line That’s a lot of words for “my parents should’ve used a condom.” has had a laughing for hours. Appreciate you getting the word out on this Rep.
My question is how was this not damned if you do, damned if you don’t vote on the rules regarding democrat chairs / vice chairs?
If you voted against it then you’re going to be accused by the democrats and your own party of shooting down ban democrat chairs, and violating a priority.
If you voted for it then now you’re accused of helping the democrats with vice chairs.

Good info! Thanks for the comment!
Next session the Texas GOP Caucus will for sure win the jerk-off race in Austin when they nominate Corey DeAngelis as their candidate.
I'm wondering if dementia is setting in for Todd Hunter. Overall, he's the embodiment of why we need a maximum candidacy age.
You all remind me of the National Enquirer. Whoa!
Enjoy!
Why not go after what Patterson did- force the vote?
That’s really the crux of the issue isn’t it?
Not whitewashing about Cook or anything else. If they hadn’t rushed this bill, they could have had time to pick it apart.
Patterson just cooked his own goose. He’s getting dragged on X, and it’s just a matter of time until it seeps into the low info voters.
We did a whole thing on it just 3 days ago: https://www.currentrevolt.com/p/many-people-are-saying-12424

PNV/absent seems the only way to win.
It’s the moral of the movie War Games (1984).
