Midland ISD Swears There Was No ICE At Its Job Site — So Why’d Everybody Run?
Workers reportedly bolted from a Midland ISD construction site Friday after spotting what they thought were ICE agents. The district says nothing happened. Nothing at all. Move along.
“Midland ISD and Parkhill are aware of social media posts circulating today, and Parkhill has confirmed no ICE agents have been on any Midland ISD job site and that no arrests have been made.”
The architecture firm checked its own job site and cleared its own job site. Case closed.
“All parties maintain strong policies requiring proper work authorization documentation and remain committed to full compliance with all local, state, and federal requirements governing construction and employment.”
Strong policies requiring proper work authorization. On a site where the workers allegedly sprinted at the sight of a federal-looking sedan. Sure.
Earlier Friday, social media posts alleged workers fled the construction site after seeing what they believed were ICE agents.
People who are properly documented don’t usually treat a parking lot like a 100-meter dash.
It remains unclear whether any immigration enforcement activity occurred elsewhere in the area.
So nobody was here, nothing happened, everyone’s authorized — and the guys with the strong compliance policies still can’t tell you who ran or why.
Okay.
Paxton Spotted on Iceland Getaway With New Girlfriend
DailyMail is reporting Texas Senate Candidate Ken Paxton was spotted heading to Iceland with his misstress-turned-girlfriend.
Footage of the Lone Star State politician and the woman he has carried on an affair with showed the lovebirds boarding their flight at Dulles International Airport Saturday night and taking a red-eye to Reykjavik.
The Daily Mail first exposed the sordid affair between Paxton, 63, and Tracy Duhon, 58, in September, revealing Paxton and the Christian influencer and mom of seven became romantically involved in May 2024 after meeting at the Kentucky Derby.
Duhon was then married to a millionaire car dealership mogul from Louisiana but has since divorced.
Paxton was then and is still married to Texas State Senator Angela Paxton, who learned of the affair and filed for divorce last year on ‘biblical grounds.’
This is rather old news seeing as the affair has been rather public since Sen Angela Paxton filed for divorce.
Voters don’t seem to mind the affair as they’re more concerned with policy over personal life.
