Cornyn’s Past Resurfaces After Deleting Pro-India Post
Recently, Senator John Cornyn shared a New York Times opinion post titled “Welcome to the Indian Century,” which seemingly glorifies the rising influence of Indians, who encompass 71% of H1B visas.
In 2004, Cornyn co-founded the US Senate India Caucus alongside Hillary Clinton. Today, he still co-chairs the group, albeit alongside Virginia Democrat Mark Warner.
In 2010, Cornyn advocated increased ties with India. At a Houston gala with “India House”, Cornyn invoked George W. Bush in calling India a global partner.
There has been recent scrutiny over the increased amount of Indian immigration and H-1B visas leading to less job opportunities for American students and a change in culture in certain cities.
Sign-Stealing Candidate Permanently Banned From County GOP Events
After Current Revolt published video of CD31 Congressional candidate Abhiram Garapati stealing his opponent’s campaign signs, the county GOP has permanently banned him from events.
The Coryell County Republican Party permanently banned Abhiram Garapati, a Republican candidate for U.S. Congressional District 31, from future events after surveillance video surfaced allegedly showing Garapati taking two opponents’ campaign signs from private property.
Coryell County Republican Party Chairman Norm Mitchell permanently banned Garapati after the candidate initially denied removing the signs, then claimed he replaced them, and finally said he left them on the property.
The Telegram asked Garapati about CR’s report on his sign thievery, he called Current Revolt’s story “mostly factual” which is pretty hilarious.
The Telegram also reported that Garapati lied to them about details regarding the signs.
Garapati has continued his campaign despite the reporting:
Rep. Stan Kitzman Under Investigation by Attorney General
In early January, Current Revolt reported on Rep. Stan Kitzman’s $11,000 payments for his consulting work for the Brookshire-Katy Drainage District.
Now, the state rep. is under investigation by the Attorney General:
The Texas Attorney General’s Office is investigating State Rep. Stan Kitzman over questions surrounding his paid work for a local governmental entity while serving in the Legislature.
Whether Kitzman’s arrangement constitutes such an office could determine if the role violates those restrictions.
“The Office of the Attorney General is conducting an investigation into this matter,” a spokesperson confirmed to Texas Scorecard.
CR’s reporting found that there was legal precedent allowing Rep. Kitzman to do his thing so there’s likely nothing to come of it.

Many ppl are saying that Cornyn’s political aim is to re-establish the Indian caste system in Texas.
So we have a fan of red-flag laws and India. What a winning combination!
