Too bad no one has the morals to do this in Titus County, our GOP chair is the lap dog of our House rep, the notorious Cole Hefner... same Cole Hefner who funded Titus GOP precinct chair campaigns 😐 Lacey Hole’s Hefner. But Titus is fine with that, apparently, as was 76% of HD5 in the last primary 🙄🤢
Just to add to the story---The chair that they had before Christ---Wally---He did the same kind of thing---refused to give the checkbook refused to allow people to meet--and just for the record this is not all that uncommon for Texas county chars. The party has given county chairs the authority to do just about anything they want---The SREC 99% support the county chairs. The RPT 99% support the county chairs. As long as the state party gets their money everything is ok. My county chair locks the door IF he has a meeting and only those he approves can attend. I have voted R all my voting life but somehow I'm not republican enough--It is because I refuse to give money to him or the party but rather to my candidate of choice--I am sure! He had a democratic chair as a p chair-he has someone than runs for office as a D as a p chair. The state party allows this conduct---and you wonder why you see Texas turning purple. and soon to be red. When you hear people say My Vote Doesn't Matter and you are politically active you understand where that comment comes from. Go to your county meetings and watch to see how differently people are treated--then know why we don't vote anymore---I think it is about 15% voter turn-out now. People dies for us to have the right to vote and look at the % of us that bother to vote!
The fighting and the split has been going on for YEARS in Montgomery County, even before the voters like myself voted for Christ. Its the Tea Party that wants total control over a dictatorship and run everything. They didn't like Dr. Wally or went this funeral. This is how they act at CEC meetings! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JkXJIXM_wBY
You’re one of their cronies; spew all the lies you can online but when this case is heard by the Texas Supreme Court, your lies will get you perjury charges.
Mary, I see your part of the tea party. I am considering Establishment in Montgomery County and support respected leaders in our community like Commissioner Charlie Riley and Judge Mark Keough. along with the leadership of Magnolia ISD, something that your Ginger hates.
Not siding with Crist, but there is absolutely no bar in Montgomery County, Texas that’s allowed to operate without having at least a volume of 70% food sales. It’s really a restaurant that sells and serves alcoholic beverages, as most do in Montgomery County. It feels like crying wolf. I’m a former bar and grill owner in Montgomery Co. I’m sure they gave him a free reservation for the seating.
The music in that bar is so loud they can barely hear each other.
It’s inappropriate for Elected Officials to hold Official Meetings in a bar.
Do you think Congress should hold session in a bar? This wasn’t a private get together, this was an official meeting & this is the pattern of this County Executive Committee Rogue Chairman.
Going to a bar and writing it off as a campaign expense shouldn’t ever be okay 🤷🏼♀️ definitely shouldn’t be okay to go with your house rep girlfriend (while your wife is at home) and write if off as a campaign expense. But that’s what our rep did (does?).
Having GOP meetings there, no, not okay.
Camp county TFRW has their meetings in a bar always, and I think it’s disgusting 🤦🏼♀️ Texas politics makes me wanna 🤮
They still must have 70% food sales. I understand the gripe but there’s more important flaws to focus on other than an establishment with a bar. I’ve seen many pictures of other GOP meetings where attendees were consuming alcoholic beverages.
Hey, this is in my district. I have personally been able to sit down and converse with Bryan Christ on a few occasions. I have no doubt in my mind that he is doing right by the voters of Montgomery County and protecting democracy.
Anyone who opposes Bryan Christ, and his wife Kristin Christ for breaking the law, are nothing less than terrorists, seditionists, narcissists, and insurrectionists.
You are so right for pointing this out, honestly I wish we would go back to Vietnam. Those were the days!
Nonetheless, the 65 precinct chairs who want to fight against Bryan Christ and his dozen or so precinct chairs are the real racists here and need to stop trying to run the party with their 65 person minority!
And no one is mentioning how the the Montgomery County Tea Party, the one that wants total control of the MCRP, also meets in a bar. Citizens Bar and Grill. They used to meet in a church of 242 east of 45 years ago.
So you are equating a social club to what is supposed to be a committee of the Montgomery County Republican Party, that is responsible for handling official Republican Party business? I find that odd.

It's not a lie, but the truth. I bet you still got Eric Yollick working on your side. The same guy that has fraud charges Egged County Judge Keough's SUV, stole campaign flyers from doors, left nasty voicemails with no proof of anything, etc. Don't believe me? Here are the sources. 1. https://www.yourconroenews.com/neighborhood/moco/news/article/Yollick-s-fraud-case-settlement-raises-ethics-10843704.php 2. https://www.yourconroenews.com/neighborhood/moco/news/article/Yollick-charged-in-egging-of-Montgomery-County-15325284.php 3. https://www.yourconroenews.com/neighborhood/moco/news/article/Yollick-faces-backlash-after-removing-candidate-15051235.php 4. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1h-27PxtZ8Gg4BsHSz-z1EjS5vW8Vkymf/view?usp=sharing
I’d take that article down if I was you… 😂
Eric Yollick is on your side. 🤦♀️
I disagree with you comment John Nicks

Valerie did you even watch the video?
The music in that bar is so loud they can barely hear each other.

*I meant to write they didn’t charge him for use of the restaurant. Also I’ve seen Rinaldi hold meetings at restaurants with full service bars.
and essentially every rep in Austin bills these types of places to their campaign expenses 😑
I know that it might be too complicated for some people so let me try to explain…
Elected Officials who want to go to the bar is fine,
Elected Officials holding Official Sessions in a bar while drinking & voting is not fine.
If you still don’t understand, I might be able to draw a diagram let me know.

No, its dictators that want total control of the party. It was a small coup in the party that has been going on for YEARS. This isnt new.
Small coup? It started with a majority vote on some official Republican party business. It's hardly "small" when it's the majority.

Pretty sure that's a parody account
Hmmmm...I wonder if Denton County Chairman is reading this article. Hmmmm
One MCRP Precinct Chair refers to the party like the Vietnam War with all the fighting. https://www.facebook.com/james.byers.359/posts/pfbid023CvuUDiLgzgHeYg85apM8nHrj8NPUHWAGywYexzA6WHHakoEuUkNZDL9YYncbRSTl

Traitors to democracy.
Rep. Crenshaw does service a part of Montgomery County.
And no one is mentioning how the the Montgomery County Tea Party, the one that wants total control of the MCRP, also meets in a bar. Citizens Bar and Grill. They used to meet in a church of 242 east of 45 years ago.

The MCTP has their meetings and votes who they want to endorse at Citizens Grill, and from their website has a full service bar.
The Montgomery County Tea Party is a club, they are not elected officials. 🤦♀️
The MCTP lives rent free in all of you establishment types heads.
Long Live The Tea Party!
Which is a club, right? Not the official Republican Party, correct?
This error has been correct. Thanks for bringing it to my attention.
I am thinking the same thing, especially he used "democracy". We are in a Republic. Two totally different forms of government.
