Around midnight on January 14th, Texas GOP Legislative Priorities Chairwoman, SREC member, and grassroots heroine Jill Glover died from Stage IV triple-negative breast cancer (among the most aggressive varieties.) On December 29th, 2023 she released an open letter detailing her circumstances.
Well done, good and faithful servant. It's what we all hope to hear one day and I am sure she did. Aside from being a faithful Christian woman following where the Lord led her, Jill Glover was instrumental in helping hold our elected officials accountable to the legislative priorities of the Republicans who put them in power - and in letting We the People know where they were falling short so we could demand better. She really made an impact and she will be greatly missed.
RIP Jill. Never had a bad interaction with her. One of the greats.
Amen! I'm proud to have known her for years; she's truly irreplaceable. Whoever comes after her has gigantic shoes to fill.
Jill and I were friends. We laughed a lot over all these ridiculous political situations. I will miss her.
I admired her a lot! She was so kind too.

Jill will be missed. She was one of the good ones, for sure.
