Although I strongly disagree with Matt Rinaldi on his support of “money follows the child” school choice, I have heart that the the people who decided to withdraw from the partnership are known to support blm. It would be helpful to get some more information about what caused this issue and what the young republicans organization is doing/not doing for these issues to arise. I also agree that the Republican establishment is not typically standing for conservative values on a consistent and principles basis and for that reason, I cannot in good conscience, call myself a Republican. I vote that way, but being conservative no longer equals being a Republican from what I’ve seen.
Are you saying the Rockwall chapter has supported blm? I hope I am misunderstanding your statement. Can you support that statement without supposition?
No-I heard the head of TYRF supports blm. But I can’t substantiate that. I was asking the current revolt to dig into that. The people I heard it from are credible sources, not ones to just make stuff up, and they have uncovered lots of corruption within ft worth isd-but still, I’d like to see tangible evidence before making a judgement on who is in the right/wrong in that instance. (Most likely, everyone is straying from conservative principles.)
Can you and current revolt do a deeper article about why TYRF separated from the Republican Party and Matt Ronaldi’s part in that? I have very conservative people here in the DFW area who really believe Rinaldi is right no matter what-if he’s already become yet another swamp monster, we need everyone to know and work to get him replaced.
I apologize-this is the person I was referring to. It looks like there are lots of layers of YR and I am not fully educated on each of them. Please forgive my mistake.
Thank you for your response. I too, would like CR to look into this further. I'm greatly distressed by the sublimation of our young people by forces meaning to do harm to our children and through them, our country.
There is controversy on all sides from the leadership in the Texas GOP to the young Republican groups in Texas. Each of them has their malevolent tendencies.
To distill all this down to several points: First any club that is a republican club that is "federated" is under republican rules and regs. The RNC always tries to take over clubs so they can mold them. Second, federations of Repub women's c;lubs across the nation are historically not very conservative as in TFRW, and all the other federated women's clubs in the US. I could go on and on about all this but this is an example. Looks like this Rockwall bunch got tired of being under the federated liberal thumb. I would say very liberal if they liked BLM.
Thank you-this is what I needed to know. This guy might be a Republican, but he isn’t a conservative. He clearly doesn’t understand the deeper implications that go with blm. Thanks for sharing this

The head of TYRF is Derrick Wilson and he does not support BLM. Whoever you heard this from is not credible.
I’m sorry-it was this guy, the head of the national YR who also happens to be from texas.

Yeah they should really ask the head of TYRF if he supports BLM.

You are spot on Claire.
My young Texans are right wing all the way. Brought up right in every way that matters. They also did not go to public schools. Just sayin'.
Here is the head of National YR's (who is from Tx) and his support for BLM. https://youtu.be/BdAtuIh43fE?si=NEX7Okz_26bGAX0X
Maybe someone should give him a history lesson around the Republican Party and civil rights.
