Katrina Pierson is a strong leader who will stand tall for common sense and decency in the Texas House. Ms. Pierson will not cater to the teacher's union; she will fight for sensible education and school choice.

The only ones I know who are pro school choice are uninformed and clueless. Neither candidate sounds like a good choice at all.

Republicans in Texas are in real trouble if these 2 candidates are a reflection of the the best that could be mustered up to run. It is very demoralizing .

You mean if someone is for school choice they are ineligible to run? Perhaps you should explain what's wrong with giving parents a choice about how to educate their children. Do you believe that public schools are doing an adequate job of educating? Just curious.

These are two bad candidates, and Katrina is REALLY bad. She is a hustler looking for a job, nothing more. You seem to have fallen for the con.

Kindly elaborate. Is she bad because she's for school choice?

She's bad because she hates minorities and because she is a con artist.

Instead of throwing dirt and mud, how about a few specifics. So far, all I've read is that she's FOR school choice. Hence, it's quite evident that all this mudslinging is coming from those who don't want parents to have a choice in where to educate their children.

Calm down, Bob. It isn't throwing dirt and mud but throwing facts. My comment is based on the fact that she's actually NOT for minorities so that would mean her entire campaign about minority choice is a sham. Just because something is unpleasant does not mean it has to be throwing mud. Facts are facts...

There's another option in the race. Dennis London took on Justin Holland in 2022. Holland spent almost a half a million dollars on that race compared to London's budget of less than $40k. London still managed to pull almost 30% of the vote.

He is a conservative and is very active in the HD33 community. He brought a strong base with him this time. Katrina pulls a lot of people because of her stardom working with the Trump campaign, but Dennis steadily continues to gain voters with his consistency and willingness to listen to the constituents needs.
