There was too much democracy going on at once.
I believe school districts withholding recapture funds from the State to be the ONLY way that school funding is finally fixed.
Hasn't talk show host Michael Berry been a huge fan of the SBISD School Board for the recent conservative take-over?
While I agree with the path of withholding recapture fund payments to the TEA, I wish my local LPISD would do the same, they MUST have regularly scheduled school board meetings. That's an absolute requirement.
It doesn't matter if some in the public don't like what the board is doing collectively. Following the law is the bottom line.
it’s so sad that you decided to basically dox those underage children on the internet by posting them without consent and then saying what school they go to. and then to patronize them by calling them leftists and making sarcastic comments about “democracy telling us how to keep elections fair” is so truly gross. Those are CHILDREN!! 16 years old! They are just trying to save their school and everything that they know right now. their world is so small right now that school is one of the only things they have. For you to take this much time out of your day and post that video and reveal sensitive information about the students, and then make fun of them, that shows how sad your life must be. At least those students have something they’re passionate about, because you clearly don’t. To take this moment of satisfaction away from those young kids is disgusting. grow up and pick on someone your own age. sorry your butthurt because these kids did more than you ever could and got off their asses and fought for what they believed in. all you can do is sit behind a screen and write what you believe in.
First time ever seeing this news source but clearly it’s trash. Also way to go in using videos from minors to push your trash agenda… I’m pretty sure they are just kids concerned about their future and their siblings futures and their friends futures since they are kids who actually reside on the north side of the district. Just students who wanted a voice in a vote that directly impacts them …
