Rep. Burgess Not Seeking Reelection
In yet another strange twist in Texas politics, Rep. Michael Burgess announced over Twitter/X he wouldn’t seek reelection. After twenty-two years of representing the North Texas district, it is unknown whether Burgess will seek another office, or retire altogether.
