I would like to see Slippy Toad rehired. The current crew of writers is not species-diverse. (It’s 100% human) and clearly biased with a pro-human slant.
Guys, I'm someone that should probably subscribe. The problem for me, is that I'm subscribing to, and reading, so many worthy publications, that it becomes a real financial concern. In a way, worthy substacks are like cute puppies at the pound. No matter how much you might want to, it's impossible to save them all. So too, it is impossible for me to pay everyone for their work.
But, here's why I am about to upgrade in your case: You guys have gone the distance. You've kept it up for all these years now, maintained a consistent voice, and the satire has been a nice bonus all along the way, along with the valuable investigative journalism.
So, keep it up, and make sure to budget a little money for the inevitable lawsuits, since those happen to anyone that is serious about what they're doing.

It may be an impossible task, but if there is ever a reason to believe this state is going to turn around rather than keep descending into insanity, it would be nice to hear about.
I did not see the option I would have preferred to pick above on: "...earn as paid subscriber?" Because right now I am able to pay the $5 monthly, I pay it because I like the news you report. I do not believe I should get it free if I am able to pay it. I am a retired educator and substitute teach for my extra things I like to do such as get extra news that I consider to be good. I attended last years GAWTP's Champions of Freedom Awards banquet and learned who you are. I was impressed and believe that I should help to support good journalism as long as it remains good. The other option which was not there was "What would cause you to cancel your paid subscription?" If your news began straying from the truth of good journalism, good and truthful research, and not print the truth because it might be harmful to your company--as in FBI told you not to report such and such in order to cover up for someone's deeds. For a non-censored FB like platform, I prefer Wimkin.com, but nobody goes there. I still use FB mostly for social media stuff, until they kick me off.

They are truly free speech, as far as I can tell. Most of the others, except Gab, are not.
They allow almost unlimited message length, which is very important for me.
They allow live video feeds, also important for live, breaking news.
The article on the breakdown of how our supposedly Republican Reps vote/rank, was eye opening and every Conservative should be aware of this...
