Dade Phelan Goes Full LGBT+P in #TXLege

Dade Phelan, who was rated the top Republican for the gay agenda by Equality Texas, and whom colleagues refer to as a “cock sucker,” is bringing gay sex to the forefront of the Texas Legislature for the first time since last week.
Phelan, the Republican Speaker of the Texas House, is teeing up another gay pride victory in the form of House Resolutions. But it’s even worse than that.
Phelan is structuring these votes in “packets” which makes it difficult for anyone to oppose them. So you have a literal humiliation ritual where Republican representatives who identify as Christians are snookered into celebrating homosexuality using the very government in which they serve. It’s a very dark sort of thing to do.
Tony Tinderholt was the lone challenger to Dade Phelan for the Speakership this session, running on a platform of Christianity and being generally against making everything about gay sex.
Representative Tinderholt issued an LGBTQ+P ALERT to Twitter about the next gay thing.
Party leadership also came out against it.
What wacky thing will the Texas House do next?
The leadership of the Texas GOP and the leadership in the state house disagree on the merits of having society revolve around gay sex between two men. Something’s gotta give!
We are all watching with bated breath to see how Phelan and company respond.
What constituency will they try and buy off next? What other weird sex thing will come out??
*and Phelan’s lone challenger for the speakership received only THREE (yes, 3!) votes, one of which was his own 😐 soooo, all those reps who voted for Phelan (and the incumbents who voted for him AGAIN) all absolutely knew what they were voting for and this gay garbage is no surprise to them.
