Karl Rove Praises NeverTrumper, Calls Normal People "Lunatics"

Rove also predicts a Phelan victory for House Speaker.

As anyone who’s paid attention to Republican politics knows, the pro-Bush faction of the GOP is dying. This was repeatedly proven in 2008, 2012, 2016, and even 2024 with Nikki Haley’s campaign flopping among everyone.

Even Texans want no association with their message of surrender and compromise, as demonstrated during the March 5th “incumbentocaust.” Still, the Bushite party cannot stop subversions, savaging their own voters, and backing Dems if it means gatekeeping out sane people. Among these is political consultant Karl Rove.

Somewhere in Texas, a Haitian migrant is eating puppy brains, yet the “muh compromise” crowd still feels entitled to meddle in our politics.

At Texas Tribune’s Tribfest, Rove was interviewed by reporter Evan Smith, who asked him a volley of questions at the event. The first question involved ex-Vice President Dick Cheney’s endorsement of Kamala Harris; otherwise, Cheney is only notable for warmongering and shooting his friend in a hunting accident. Rove responded by commending him and his daughter Liz Cheney as “principled.”

When asked more directly about Harris endorsements, Rove sidestepped the question in an attempt to look neutral.

Strangely, Rove earlier called Kamala a “better change candidate,” a statement easily debunked by the fact she’s a sitting vice president, and her policies mainly involve aggravating America’s pitiful state (complete with importing more Haitian cat eaters.) In fairness to Rove, he admitted Trump was better on issues.

Moving on to Texas politics, Rove praised Phelan supporters, prophesying a Phelan victory in the House Speaker race and Democrat Chairs running committees. Worse, he called those wanting common sense House rules (like not letting Leftists in leadership) “lunatics.” Considering a majority of Texas House Republicans now oppose Democrat chairmanships, Rove is to the Left of much of our legislature.

Rove’s prediction MIGHT be correct. Phelan has hired casino lobbyist Mike Toomey (at a time when casinos are controversial in Texas), and got Rick Perry on his team as well. Combined with Democrats, he could hold the Texas House, and keep his speakership.
