San Antonio Democrats Cry Over Dem Chair Ban Supporter
Letting voter majorities dictate committees is evil apparently.
For numerous election cycles, Republican activists have demanded their legislators not allow committees to be chaired by Democrats. In a red state like Texas, you’d think banning Democrat Chairs would be common sense; if people wanted Leftists in ANY leadership, wouldn’t they vote for them?
Despite this, establishment-backed groups tone-deafly either sidestep the issue, or dismiss it as unimportant.
Considering how irate the “Donkey Party” is over this proposed and popular change, ignoring the “Chair Question” is ridiculous.
Leftist Rep. Trey Martinez Fischer (D - San Antonio) , along with other Bexar County Democrats released a statement whining about Republican nominee Marc LaHood actually listening to his voters.
According to Martinez-Fischer’s screed, doing what your voters elected you to do is “partisanship.” Under this so-called logic, almost everything a leader does is “partisan.”
Unsurprisingly, the aforementioned Democrats praise George W. Bush (notable for war-mongering and “the internets”) and ex-Texas House Speaker Joe Straus (who was on Nikki Haley’s leadership team), who’s greatest accomplishment was making the biggest GOP landslide in Texas History in 2010 worthless by working with Leftists.
As the March 5th primaries and the May 28th runoffs proved, the GOP base is more redpilled than in elections past, and are uninterested in comprised half-measures. A majority of House Republicans even signed a statement supporting a total ban on Democrat Chairs.
Understandably, many establishment fogeys demand race communists have a seat at the table because it’s a “Texas Republican tradition.” Before parroting such hogwash, remember the following truths:
Precedent is just peer pressure from dead people.
Allowing the Left a voice in our politics is why Texas isn’t as Red as it could be.
Too many self-proclaimed conservatives claim shooting yourself in the foot demonstrates virtue. However, when the other side wants to abolish Texas’s border, legalize child genital mutilation and baby murder, and plunge our cities into anarchy via “criminal justice reform” is that a risk worth taking?
If the Republicans don't pass this unanimously, they will verify to us that they are a UNIPARTY after all and represent their money masters and NOT the people of Texas. I don't know how much simpler it can get for people to come to grips with the fact that we are in deep trouble and our fellow Republicans willingly led us to this precipice with their corrupt bipartisan bullshit and more.
The article mentions San Antonio's legacy of bipartisanship. Bexar county's version of "partisanship" is we, the rinos and we the demos all think alike so this bipartisanship works for us. We all think money is the key to enriching each other's pockets. DUH.
