To be honest, I think we are screwed largely because of this. I think to use someone's newly chosen "trans" first name is to join them in affirmation of a falsehood and essentially requires right-thinking people to lie. I think 99.9% of people will have no problem doing so. I think a huge majority of people will acquiesce on the pronoun non-sense. Is it worth loosing my career over pronouns? I think the answer for most people is "No." Huge numbers of "our guys" decided their career was worth more than the right to abstain from playing Russian roulette with employer-mandated experimental meds two years ago. "Our guys" won't even say "No!" to potentially save their own body or to keep the freedom of bodily autonomy.
The "beauty" of the trans stuff is that it forces you to publicly take a side in a way the last round of perversions did not. I think our "conservative" friends and family will normalize this demonic non-sense before long and decades from now, when they have compromised themselves and the truth more times than they can remember, they will be lost shell people who intentionally refuse to see the truth; because the truth is too painful and would cost them too much.
