Very Hispanic Gang Member Out on Bail Shoots Up a Hospital
“Bail reform” was a fun Republican trick in 2021.
Libertarians are right — we can save a lot of tax money if we let all the criminals out of jail with ankle monitors.
If we close the prisons completely will they give us a break on our property taxes?
AP:
DALLAS (AP) — A man fatally shot two Dallas hospital employees over the weekend, opening fire after accusing his girlfriend who had just given birth of infidelity, authorities said.
Jacqueline Pokuaa, a 45-year-old social worker, and Katie Annette Flowers, a 63-year-old nurse, were killed in Saturday’s shooting at Methodist Dallas Medical Center, according to police and hospital officials.
Authorities have said Nestor Hernandez, 30, opened fire around 11 a.m. while at the hospital for the birth of a child by his girlfriend. Hernandez, who was on parole from prison and had been granted permission to be at the hospital while wearing an ankle monitor, was shot and wounded by a police officer, authorities said.
The alleged killer has apparently already updated his face with two teardrop tattoos.
I’m not trying to be racist right now, but tattooing your face is the original social media update. Who am I to judge?
This isn’t 1999 anymore. You can’t just say; “well if you know Juan, you know ‘em all.”
“In my opinion, this is a failure of our criminal justice system,” Dallas police Chief Eddie Garcia said at a news conference Monday. “A violent individual such as this should not have been on ankle monitor and should have remained in custody.”
Is the police chief calling this man violent because he’s not white?
It’s also possible, but not proven, that the Dallas police chief called this gentleman “violent” because he allegedly did a double murder in a hospital nursery.
Because the state and federal government are trying to harm us with their policies, you may find it unsurprising that:
Criminal had a criminal record
Criminal kept getting released, then violating the conditions of his release
Criminal cut off his ankle monitor while out on bail earlier this year
After cutting off the first monitor, criminal was once again released from prison into our society with an ankle monitor
Criminal promptly proceeded to be a criminal
For some reason, Texas Republicans gave us a hard sell on “bail reform” for 5 months last year, despite no normal people caring about this issue.
Every Republican ran with these same narratives as their victory lap after the last legislative session in 2021.
Claim: “Improved education.”
Reality: Removed failing grades from schools.
Claim: “Supported our retired educators.”
Reality: They handed out money like there is no tomorrow, just like every other government as a result of the lockdowns during the Covid hoax.
Claim: “Strengthened border security.”
Reality: This is an embarrassing claim for people with a conscience to make. It seems very likely this “border security” money is being stolen since the they are not securing the border. So not only did they pass a law to embezzle money, they brag about it.
Claim: “Reformed our broken bail system.”
Reality: Cholo hospital shootings.
Claim: “Fought social media censorship.”
Reality: Ye, one of the most famous and richest people in the world, was just banned from all social media. The censorship gets worse every single day.
It’s somewhat exciting to have your state turning into Gand Theft Auto before our eyes. Hopefully, people catch on to these phonies and elect hardcore patriots .
It’s time for Republicans to become the Republicans that Democrats want us to be.
As usual, you get to the meat of the matter. I remember speaking to a bail bondsman at the time of that legislative push and his telling me what a BAD idea it was. I did not support it based on my conversation with that man. BTW this was also a big push by the Libertarianoids embedded into our GOP. You know they want to save all those dope dealers and dopers. BTW, which prisons do you reference? The ones with murderers in them or the ones indoctrinating our children??? You also forgot to mention that our dysfunctional Legislature reduced the vote fraud penalty from a felony to a misdemeanor and watered down other aspects of election law. Could it be that they suspected Texans may want to pass legislation where voters can sue Election Officials for disenfranchising their votes???
Great take.
