Dallas Rep. Jasmine Crockett claims that “crossing the border illegally” is not a crime, never mind that everything illegal is a crime.
The oxymoron she stated was handily debunked by just a twenty second Google search, when y’alls truly read the below federal code.
Ironically, her pre-Congress background was as a lawyer and a Texas House Representative. Judging by this, there’s no excuse for her to not acknowledge the obvious.
It’s possible she doesn’t comprehend her own statement. Crockett has a history of unhinged statements that have landed her in the limelight countless times. Whether it was attempting to aid Trump’s near-assassin, spreading wild conspiracy theories about ballot security, ranting about a White Supremacist Illuminati, or even suggesting a genocide of Whites, Crockett’s penchant for odd drivel shows no signs of ending.
With the number of scams and buffoonery in Texas politics, epitomized by the above, you’ve got to wonder if there’s a way to screen for such people beforehand. It’s almost like letting anyone run for office is a bad idea; whether it’s letting the lower IQ run for Congress, or Democrat donors run in GOP primaries in districts they don’t live in, Texas must take ballot eligibility more seriously.
One thing we at Current Revolt notice, is that political machines and cliques, whether it’s Texas House leadership, controlled opposition, or (in this case) Congressional Democrats, promote their most ridiculous to positions of authority. Usually, said types get promoted to head some committee, and/or be the public face of their handlers as a reward for blind service. This is because they’ll unquestioningly parrot talking points and enforce leadership’s desires, and because said beneficiaries are believed to cause less damage under their leader’s thumb once in such positions.
Overall, the below principle explains a lot about who gets promoted, whether in corporations or political coalitions.
I think we should rethink this whole “voting thing” after hearing her talk.
What we have seen over the last months it is clear the Ava creature may indeed have a chance to unseat oneeyejack after all.
