Prosper ISD Parents Demand Pervert Purge
The scandal-ridden district is reeling from molesters and groomers
Prosper ISD ain’t prospering. In a recent news release, the activists of Prosper Citizen Group upped their fight against grooming in schools. While already demanding the axing of porn books, they officially called for the resignation of Superintendent Holly Ferguson for covering up child molestation.
Foremost, we at Current Revolt second this call for Ferguson’s resignation, and frankly there should be worse consequences. How are these happenings shocking though? When you give “half a peace sign” to parents, of course they will hate you; what is really surprising is this did not happen earlier.
Per Texas Scorecard:
“Prosper ISD mom Tiffany Kearney reminded board members of the district’s 2015 attempt to cover up sexual malfeasance, in which school administrators admonished teacher MariBeth Thomas for reporting a student’s claim of sexual advances by a teacher’s aide to the Prosper police instead of to the district’s own police department.
‘WE (administrators) are the PD,’ an associate principal was recorded telling the teacher.
Following an investigation by the Texas Education Agency, then-Prosper High School Principal Greg Wright surrendered his State Board for Educator Certification license, but he was later hired as a principal at Prestonwood Christian Academy in Prosper.
Noting that Ferguson worked in the district at the time, Kearney told the board on Monday that if the 2015 incident hadn’t been ‘swept under the rug … you would not now have two children assaulted.’”
A pro-groomer district having a history of kid-diddling? How shocking! Seriously, numerous school districts around Texas, from Austin (repeatedly) to Frisco, normalize random strangers talking to kids about their sexuality and genitals, and wonder why pedophiles make their abode in public schools. How do these practices not ring the dinner bell for aspiring child abusers?
A reassuring whitepill from these situations is people are obviously paying attention to local officials and their children’s education. Before parents had classroom contents thrust in their faces via Zoom during 2020, nobody except a few wise grassroots leaders even mentioned school boards.
That said, we need a long-term solution to the groomer question, and one we do not need to wait another few years for. Firstly, keep showing up to school board meetings as Prosper parents did; every child saved from reprobates is a victory. Remember, feel free to withdraw your kids from public school, but never retreat. Whether social media monopolies, civil service, higher education, or society itself, the conservative response was unfortunately to bow out via “If you don’t like it just leave” excuses, ensuring Neomarxist conquest of these spheres. It does not help many “conservatives” are more concerned about candidates having “mean tweets” than sane policy.
However, if you are extra tired of educational dysfunction and want to pull out, we would suggest forming homeschool co-ops, or as Evangelical Dark Web suggest, find a based church and have them start a school. Altogether though, Rightists are making unprecedented headway in the groomer wars, whether Fredericksburg ISD’s porn book purge, or a Wisconsin school district’s ban on pride and BLM flags. Keep fighting; it is working.
